my upper right canine tooth used to just have that chalky look to it, but now has a hole on the upper part of it anyways. I find it annoying cause I always want to slide my tongue over it. How will the dentist repair it?
Do i have a bad cavity?

Reply:If you get it fixed in time you will probably just need a filling, if you wait and let it get worse you may need a root canal.
Reply:If it's a hole then it sounds like a cavity. You should go get it filled before it gets worse. Probably the dentist will just fill it to repair it.
Reply:If you go to the dentist now you may be able to just get a filling, it depends how bad the hole is... You might need a root canal now.. Don't worry they aren't that bad.... Just make sure you go to a good dentist and you'll barely feel anything....
Reply:The dentist will place a permanent filling, since it is a canine he may place a tooth coloured filling, i'm not sure how your dentist works, watever he uses its a filling.
