Have I made it worse? (Mouth Ulcer)?

I have had an ulcer in my mouth really close to my canine teeth, and it was really uncomfortable. Last night I pulled my lip out a little so I could see it in the mirror to put some bonjela on it (stuff for mouth ulcers etc). When I let go of my lip the ulcer caught onto my tooth making it bleed. Ever since it's been even worse with and without the bonjela....any tips? and have I made it into something worse?

Dear lord, I feel your pain! I get those a lot. I'm not sure if you made things worse, but what I do know is that you should rinse with warm salt water, and try not to play with the sore too much (like poking it with your tongue). That's all you can really do; you just have to wait it out.
