My Great Dane got hit by a car last week,He broke his jaw, any advice?

My Great Dane ran out the doggy door and strait into the path of an oncoming jeep.(The jerk offs didnt evevn stop) Well he got hurt really bad, it broke his jaw in half. Its hard to explian but it broke between his front bottom teeth down the middle. It was sooo bad I have never been that scared. He was bleeding EVERYWHERE! well the vet told us to keep an eye on what he puts in his mouth because the wires could break. Guess what..This morning we went back to surgery, rewired his jaw, put in a pin and they had to pull his canine tooth b/c it was broken up in the gum. Im so scared he's going to do this again. I feel so bad for him. he's pitiful. Im mashing all his food and took his toys away, but I don't know what else to do. The first surgery cost $550. Today was another $450 He' beginning to get expensive! Any body got any advice?

in a blender puree


2 cups goats milk


1 raw egg


1 raw beef liver or kidney


2 tbsp of honey


1 whole clove garlic


feed this to the dog 4x per day.


he will be able to lap it up. i have never had a dog no matter how sick not eat this. if he needs more because of weight loss double up on the ingredients.
