I've been using an oral irrigation machine for awhile now. I never bothered to watch/listen to the CD it came with so I've just been using it on a pretty high setting. I figured no pain, no gain but Im noticing now that on one of my canine teeth the gumline is very high. I assumed the higher pressure the better or cleaner the teeth would be. Can someone knowledgeable in this area give me some advice on how to best use this machine?
Is it possible to use too high of a setting on an oral irrigator?
Listen to the CD. Ur probably doing more damage than good. Just set it so it is comfortably doing the job. Shouldn't have pain with it.
Reply:listen/watch the cd. thats why it comes with directions. turn it down
