If she is a mix, you won't be able to sell her for anything unless you scam some poor innocent moron, lol. Your vet will be able to tell if she is purebred, or, you may be able to find a Shih Tzu breeder local to you inthe paper or other public publication. Black IS a common color for Shih Tzus, but even so, if she isn't papered, you may STILL not be able to get much, if anything, from a sale.
Reply:She is worth nothing. If she has two rows of teeth she needs to see the vet.
Reply:I've had differen't color Shiatsu's before though mainly brown and black with the occasional Spinach Green on a sick day.
Reply:selling a life is wrong! Right?!
Reply:LOL...the dog is called Shih Tzu, Shiatsu is a kind of massage...goober. As far as I know, black is an uncommon color for a Shih Tzu, but if she is a mix, then of course it is possible. Why do you want to know her worth, are you trying to sell her?
Reply:shiatsu? i think it's spelled shih-tzu. Any color is normal for any dog just like human beings. We all come in different colors because we are from different races. Why does it matter how much she's worth? I don't think you should ask how much a dog is worth. It's like asking how much you're worth. You can't put a price on a dog like that. It's just wrong.
Reply:Isn't Shiatsu a massage technique?? I don't know what colours might be appropriate, or correct.. If she can actually do massage therapy, I would say she is worth her weight in gold.. Those double canines tho might cause some discomfort.. Might want to get those removed.
Reply:i thought shiatsu was a massage?anyway you probably mean shih tzu and why do you want to know how much she is worth?like someone else said its like putting a price on yourself and thats just wrong.are you trying to sell her?
Reply:Shih Tzu is what you mean, that's a dog, you spelled a massage.

If she's a mix, she's a mutt and certainly not worth any money - but that doesn't mean she isn't absolutely precious and worth a million bucks to someone who loves her, which I hope you do.

If she has double canine teeth, she needs to get to a vet to have that fixed.

Looking at dogs as being "rare" or "worth a lot of money" is so horrible it offends anyone who loves animals. They are alive - they feel and have needs - they're not furniture sweetie.

Your dog is one of a kind, as all are, and deserving of a loving home and good care, not a collectible to be appraised financially.
Reply:Shih Tzu's come in many colors. We have two brindles. Why do you ask how much she is worth? If she is your baby why even put a price on her. They are nice loving little dogs.

As for her teeth problem. We had the same thing happen to one of your pomeranians, she had two rows on top and bottom. She looked like a little shark. We took her to the vet, he said that it was just her adult teeth were coming in before her baby teeth were out, He said she should lose the baby teeth in a month or so. It was a good month and half before she lost them. We took her back he said her teeth were perfectly fine and in good condition.

If you are worried please take her to the vet and get his/her opinion.
Reply:Your Shih Tzu is an acceptable color...any color is accepted under this breed. If she has double teeth top and bottom this is an extreme fault for the breed and can be a severe health issue. The teeth should have been pulled when she was a puppy...she has a higher risk of dental problems, decay, and heart disease. If she is a mix she is only worth what it would cost to adopt one from the SPCA, same if she is purebred due to the teeth.
