My cat is about 5 mo. old and...?

I found one of his "canine" teeth on the ground. He lost it somehow throughout the night. Im curious, will he grow it back?

This is normal. Like us, kittens lose their baby teeth, then adult teeth come through which wouldnt grow back. 6 months is about the right age so i wouldnt worry about it.
Reply:yea, it should...

dogs and cats have baby teeth that fall out just like people..

it happened with my dog and cat...
Reply:yeah, probably a milk tooth. he will get a new one
Reply:maybe not, I had a cat with a missing canine and he lived like that his whole life
Reply:Don't worry, he is just losing his baby teeth!
Reply:cats are like humans they'll grow back no worry..its ok but if it doesnt grow back soon go see a vet bu it should be ok..it happened to our dog but we never noticed it happening to our cat but she lived outside mainly so thats probably why
Reply:it should grow back.
Reply:no worries just baby tooth.

When I found my cat he had been hit by a car and it knocked his canine out..he was probably about 5 to 6 months old at the time...it grew back and he is a very healthy loving 2 yr old now
Reply:at that age they usually grow back out.
Reply:yes. Your cats tooth should grow back.
Reply:ya that's just his baby teeth, more should fall out soon and since it's baby teeth they will grow back, my kittens r about 4 months old so i'm looking to see some lost teeth soon....
