Is my kitten teething?

Hi there, I am not entirly sure how old my Kitten is the last owner told us she was 12 weeks/3 months old but when we got her she is more like 6-10 months, and she keeps going around and rubbing her face and mouth against things like my sofa and a few cardbard boxes I have also she keeps chewing the corners of them too, She does have some teeth but I cannot get in to see how many teeth she has as she does not know me enough yet to let me look, do you think she is teething? All i can see when she yawns is her canine teeth though (fangs lol)

Thanks in advance

True, rubbing the face on items is marking.

The cat could be chewing because she is teething and chewing feels good. Or, she could be chewing on boxes because it's fun. If she is only six months old she could be feeling discomfort; if she is closer to ten months she is not teething and she's chewing because it's something to do.
Reply:When cats rub their mouths up against items and people they are "marking" their "property." Cats have glands located in these areas and use them to mark. This is not the same as a male cat spraying. This form of marking is odorless and harmless.
