Today I noticed that she has lost one of her back canine teeth, so I was just wondering if this is permanent or if it is just a baby tooth that will grow back. thanks much

Not to worry, it's baby teeth, usually lost between four to six mos old so she will continue to loose more for a few months. Teething does not end for quite awhile though, because their molar teeth grow in later.

Reply:It is most likely a baby tooth. When my dog lost his teeth, I never saw his teeth. They sometimes swallow them.

Reply:this tooth will grow back she is teething and will be chewing everything for awhile so make sure she has plenty of chew toys and keep wires and other things that could hurt it out of reach
