Both canines removed, just got braces, will I have gaps?

I just had my right canine removed because it made my teeth go crooked. The left one was removed a few years ago because I had no space in my mouth for it. Since then my teeth have been slowly moving themselves to the left, hence I was to get the right canine removed. (Upper jaw) I am 17 and don't have my wisdom teeth yet and I just got braces. I am really worried about any gaps appearing between my teeth and at the moment, I don't have any, neither have I had any previously. Does anyone know the answer to this? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Don't worry you will not have any gaps.

I had 3 permanent teethe removed during braces and I have no gaps and I can't even remember which teeth they took out. Im getting my braces off soon and I have no gaps :)

They wouldn't remove them if they werent going to close the gap ^_^
Reply:the braces will correct any gaps
Reply:having braces will ensure that you have a nice, gap free smile. Ask your ortho about specifics that are worried about. I don't think you'll have any gaps.
Reply:The point of braces is to remove gaps and straighten teeth. Don't worry about it, if you didn't have any before it is VERY unlikely that you'll get gaps by wearing something designed to remove them! If you're still worried, ask your orthodontist.
Reply:No you won't..The ortho will not leave you with gaps. They know what they are doing..relax.
Reply:Are you sure it was your canines that were removed? Those teeth are rarely extracted because of crowding since they are very important teeth! Hopefully you meant to say "bicuspids" !
