Tooth help!?

ok so i got braces in july of last year and i have a bracket on every tooth except two. on the left side of my mouth my canine and the one beside it do not have brackets. that baby canine had to be pulled before a got braces and still has not come back in and the one beside it is pushed back very far in my mouth, making a big gap on my left side. My orthodontist says that he cant put a bracket on my back tooth until the canine comes in, does anyone know why? and if i push on my back tooth, will it eventually move forward? and why hasnt my canine came in yet? so many questions, i know!

Tooth help!?
im not sure about the growth of the canine, but pushing on your teeth does work,to some extent. my orthodontst told me to push on my teeth whenever possible, simply because after my braces were removed,my teeth started shifting back to their natural crooked positions. it does help somewhat. hope this helps.
Reply:It probably hasn't grown back yet because you had to get it pulled, meaning it wasn't ready to come out yet. when your tooth becomes loose its because there is a tooth already there pushing it out. That same thing happened to me, it came though. So dont worry.
Reply:ask your orthodontist if you an go to an oral surgeon who can put a bracket on the unerupted tooth .

This bracket will have a gold chain coming out of it that is very tiny and your orthodontist can tie it to the orthodontic wire with "zing string " and it will slowly help that tooth out!

good luck!
